Private Instruction
All of our music teachers have University training and/or professional performance experience. They are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are very friendly and dedicated to guiding you in the direction that helps you reach your full musical potential.
At Stevens School of Music &The Arts, we offer private music instruction on the following instruments:
- Guitar (acoustic, classical, electric)
- Drums
- Bass Guitar
- Saxophone

Lesson Format and Performing Opportunities Our lessons are offered in semester blocks, however, students may join at any time. Tuition will be prorated to the amount of lessons remaining in a semester. Lessons are generally 30 minutes once per week with some more advanced students choosing 45 to 60 minute lessons. We offer two to three school recitals each year and support other performing opportunities such as school, community and church activities, festivals and competitions. These events are encouraged, however they are optional and at the discretion of the student and teacher.
